Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce

International Trade

We strive to connect our community to the world by:

  • Increasing/retaining local jobs by entering international markets
  • Establishing alliances or partnerships to maximize international business
  • Investing in and educating the community to expand international trade
  • Demonstrating new or creative approaches to imports, exports, and other international commercial matters
  • Producing for and adapting to foreign markets
  • Marketing member businesses and home communities to investors and enterprises abroad

Members of the Chamber involved in international trade include manufacturers, service providers, distributors, freight forwarders, engineering/construction firms and technology/e-commerce companies and comprise 60% of the Chamber's membership. Our international trade services are designed to help business owners and executives identify new market opportunities, build global networks and address international trade matters.

Northern Kentucky International Trade Association (NKITA)

NKITA aims to enhance opportunities for business members who are currently involved and/or want to become involved in international trade. The program connects members with global business resources and networking opportunities through organizing round tables, trade education seminars nad other special events in the Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati region.

Export Compliance

If your company exports to a foreign country, the quality of your export documents is as important as the product itself. If your export documentation is accurate, your clients will receive their merchandise on time and pay you in a timely manner. The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Export Compliance Team is available to support your company with complete Chamber Seal certification services. As a Chamber member, you can benefit from many of our Export Compliance services, including:

Contact our award winning Export Compliance team to plan your export strategy and assist with appropriate documentation. Please note: Some countries (including Egypt and Bahrain) may require your export documents to first be approved by the local Consulate, while others need paperwork to be translated into a local language.

The Northern Kentucky Chamber can review and certify your export documents. To be processed, your export documents must include at minimum the following:

  • Commercial Invoice
  • Certificate of Origin

For more information on completing a Certificate of Origin, please click here.

Our Export Compliance team can provide same day certification (export documents must be delivered to the Northern Kentucky Chamber by 12:00 noon). Discounted packages are available.
