Network with dynamic women during a monthly Happy Hour. Invite friends and co-workers to mix and mingle while enjoying happy hour drinks and appetizers. Mid-level women professionals or women re-entering the workforce can receive one-on-one formal mentoring with a current or former senior executive. The goal is to pair selected women with a mentor who will assist them to further foster their professional growth. This unique opportunity is offered exclusively to women.
Business Women Achieve (Roundtable)
A circle of peers to foster professional and personal development. This structured program enables members to draw on the experience and successes of their peers. Each confidential forum of similar level professionals from noncompeting businesses regularly meet to share and provide counsel on the challenges and opportunities facing today’s businesses. After the classroom, participates will get live practice with a Golf Pro. We will cover how to chip and putt the ball.

Women's initiative Regional Summit
The Women’s Initiative of Northern Kentucky is hosting its first regional conference on June 29, 2016. It is a low-cost way for companies to provide high quality professional development for their female employees.
In existence for seven years, the Women’s Initiative is the area’s “leading organization for women of all career stages to connect, grow and achieve for business and professional success.”
The Regional Women’s Summit is open to professional women from Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. The theme “It’s Time to Take the Lead,” is based on keynote speaker Betsy Myers’ book Take the Lead: Motivate, Inspire, and Bring Out the Best in Yourself and Everyone Around You. She is one of the most accomplished, sought-after speakers on leadership in the nation. Ms. Myers will deliver two keynote presentations during the summit. For the conference format, click here.
This one-day conference scheduled from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, Covington, KY, will include breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon. Breakout sessions are structured to appeal to young professionals, mid and senior career women, those contemplating second careers, and entrepreneurs. For a list of the breakout sessions, click here.

Women’s Regional Summit Honorary Committee
On the Road is a series of professional development programs hosted at a member’s business location for their employees. The goal is to support, encourage and sustain new and innovative learning initiatives.
More than 30 different topics are available in the following areas:
All of the topics are presented by trained, qualified and professional speakers.
Most sessions are 1- 1 ½ hour in length. On the Road will be funded by each sponsoring host company. Each session will be at a cost of $25 per participant with a minimum of 10 participants per session. A deposit of $250 is due upon booking the session with an invoice for the total number of attendees immediately following the session. Sessions are open to BOTH men and women.

The Annual Breakfast is the largest event hosted by the Women’s Initiative. In 2016, the seventh anniversary of the Annual Breakfast, over 700 were in attendance. Each year the breakfast features a keynote speaker and presentation of the Spirit of Achievement award, sponsored by BB&T.
